Chateau Artistry in Silver Retreat

Manor and Maker have the most enchanting chateau. It is situated in beautiful countryside of the Dordogne, France. We have been given a unique opportunity to create a fabulous retreat at the chateau.

Sarah and Stephen, the chateau owners, are very passionate about art and creative pursuits and are super excited to welcome us. I can assure you they are amazing hosts. They kindly entertained myself and my husband earlier this year. They are the most interesting couple with a love of artistry and a great sense of humour

During the retreat, I will be teaching five days of silversmithing. You will make five pieces of silver jewellery that you take home with you after the retreat, as a lasting memory of your time at the chateau. Don’t worry if you are a complete beginner, we start from the basics and build from there. On the final day, you will have the opportunity to design and make your unique piece using the skills you have been taught throughout the week.

A wonderful bonus is we don’t have to think about feeding ourselves. We will be too busy creating while our very own gourmet chef will be cooking up wonders in the kitchen for us. There will be wine too!
